Description

This is a redesigned Submariner Rolex, model 116613, in two-tone gold / stainless steel with blue dial and bezel. It was never owned, and it comes with all the original boxes and documentation (including, of course, its original authenticity certificate).

This model is a slightly redesigned version of the classic Submariner, with some rather interesting changes. For example, the case lugs are thicker - which provides it with more of a squared-off look. Also, this version uses a larger than average dial (known as Maxi Dial by enthusiasts), including larger hour marks and improved luminescent paint applications. Also, the bezel is now created from scratch proof ceramic (a much welcomed improvement), and the clasp is reminiscent of the Daytona models.

All in all, this is a special edition of the Submariner, which was created based on feedback from actual Rolex enthusiasts. If you've always wished the Submariner was a little different in certain details, maybe this will be the one version that you will be irrevocably drawn towards. One thing is for certain: this is a unique and impressive model.
